Shift Details:

Quantity: Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks

Shift/Workdays: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A

Weekend Rotating

Call Requirements: No

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Special Skills/Experience required:

2 years +

All candidates are required to float, while on the interview please inform candidate of the Methodist Floating Policy

Unit Specifics:

Number of Beds: 14

Patient Ratios: 1:2

Type of equipment: ECMO NxtSTG

Documentation system: Meditech

Scheduling requirements: 3 shifts per week and every other weekend

ACLS

BLS

NIH

2+ Years of ICU experience

Comfortable with vasoactive drips

Strong understanding of hemodynamic

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed:

Candidates with these skills will be considered first:

ECMO CRRT (NxtStg)

Meditech Experience preferred

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required:

(RN) Active TX RN License ONLY- temp License will not be accepted

Procedures performed on unit:

ECMO CRRT

Chest tube insertions

Central line insertions

Patient Experience Required:

ICU / COVID PATIENTS

Dress Code:

Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

Scrub Color:

RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket

Nail Policy Clean and Healthy

Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed

Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually

Piercings Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
