Concierge

Facility: Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Position: Concierge Location: Boynton Beach, Florida Shift: Full-Time Salary: $18–$23 per hour About the Role Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a warm, compassionate, and detail-oriented Concierge to enhance our residents' experience and support smooth transitions during admissions and discharges. As the Concierge, you will serve as a key point of contact for residents and their families, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Admissions Department and Nursing Team to prepare for new resident admissions. Check and ready rooms, including confirming that all equipment (beds, oxygen, etc.) is available and operational. Ensure rooms are clean, lights and call bells work, TVs are functioning, and remotes are present. Assemble welcome baskets with essentials (as applicable). Personally greet and escort new residents to their rooms. Offer emotional support to residents and family members as needed. Answer call bells and follow up to ensure resident needs are met. Receive and report resident complaints/concerns through the grievance process. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff. Attend in‑service trainings, supervisory meetings, and all Resident Council meetings. Provide tours during off‑hours in the absence of admissions staff. Assist with room changes when residents transition from short‑term rehab to long‑term care. Complete Concierge follow‑up forms within 48 business hours of admission and before planned discharge. Email daily progress reports to administration to track any concerns or trends. Coordinate with laundry for residents returning from hospital stays. Distribute discharge gift bags and ensure supplies are stocked. Monitor scheduled smoking sessions. Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator. Requirements Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Strong decision‑making and communication skills. Comfortable with computers, office equipment, and learning new systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
