Commercial Service Plumber

The incumbent lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and maintains plumbing systems and related equipment for assigned projects. Base hourly rate of $28/hr - $37/hr.

Key tasks & responsibilities include facilitating positive interactions with customers, assembling pipe sections, filling pipes to detect leaks, reviewing blueprints, measuring and cutting pipes, installing underground piping systems, inspecting and diagnosing plumbing systems, and teaching trade skills.

Conduct standards include maintaining confidentiality, upholding the code of conduct, promoting safety culture, and exemplifying core company values.

Work environment involves field operations with exposure to weather, harmful materials, fumes, noise, machinery, and other construction site conditions.

Physical demands include standing, reaching, working in various positions, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Travel may be required between job sites.

Minimum qualifications include high school or equivalent, 5+ years of plumbing experience, drawing literacy, computer proficiency, tool knowledge, ability to work from instructions, construction literacy, general trade knowledge, willingness to work nights and overtime, leadership skills, fluency in English, valid driver's license, and compliant driving record.

Preferred qualifications include rigging and signaling certification, forklift certification, aerial and scissor lift certification, OSHA 30-hour training, first aid/CPR certification, and backflow certification.
