Associate Director-Senior Manager, Global Master Data Management Engineering/Ops

Johnson & Johnson seeks an Associate Director–Senior Manager for Global Master Data Management Engineering/Ops to own the build, configuration, and strategic operations of MDM platforms supporting the Orthopaedics business. The role encompasses platform oversight, data harmonization, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership across Commercial, Supply Chain, R&D, and Corporate Systems.
Responsibilities
- Own global Master Data Management platform data landscape and assess data harmonization needs across organization
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical skill development to MDM Engineering/Ops team members
- Establish and maintain metrics driving process improvements across MDM domains and environments
- Develop and lead systems improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and performance
- Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, R&D, and Corporate Systems teams on requirements and strategy alignment
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and managing Master Data Management platforms and data models
- Leadership experience mentoring technical teams on MDM processes and capabilities
- Strong knowledge of data integration, enterprise data warehouses, and data lake architectures
- Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and partner across business functions
- Experience with system health, security, patching, releases, and environment management
- Track record developing process improvements and establishing performance metrics
- Independent decision-making and ability to present recommendations to senior leadership
