At Waters, the Manufacturing Technician position is a great opportunity for an electro-mechanical technician to join a world class analytical instrument manufacturer. The work environment is inclusive, team oriented and the customer is always our first priority.Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited toAssembles/Tests a wide variety of instruments, kits, and accessory itemsPerform peer auditsTroubleshoots and repairs sub-assemblies and instrumentsFollows all procedures and processesParticipates in Lean process improvement programsThe successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the followingMust be able to read blueprints, follow written procedures and drawings, and verbal instructionsAbility to use hand tools (i.e. screwdrivers, wrenches), power tools (i.e. nut driver), and electronic test devices to assemble and conduct preliminary tests on small assembliesMust be able to work interdependently in team settings to accomplish goalsThe individual must be able to handle multiple assignments, draw from past experiences, skills, and knowledge to assemble and resolve problemsA general knowledge of PC/Computers is a requirementCompany DescriptionWaters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) is a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics, dedicated to accelerating the benefits of pioneering science through analytical technologies, informatics, and service.
