Sales Director

We are partnering with a leading non-alcoholic beverage organization seeking a proven sales leader to oversee a large-scale commercial operation across a multi-site distribution network. This is a high-impact leadership role designed for an experienced Director-level professional who has successfully led sales organizations within the beverage industry and understands the complexities of DSD, route-to-market execution, and retail growth strategies. The ideal candidate will have a track record of driving volume, revenue, and profitability while developing high-performing sales leadership teams and strengthening customer partnerships across key retail channels. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of Sales Managers and field sales leaders across a significant geographic territory. Own sales performance, volume growth, market share expansion, and revenue goals. Manage P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and operational efficiencies. Drive execution of DSD and route-to-market strategies to maximize customer service and sales productivity. Develop and execute annual business plans, growth initiatives, and go-to-market strategies. Build strong relationships with major retail, grocery, convenience, and foodservice customers. Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, finance, and merchandising teams to ensure flawless execution. Coach, mentor, and develop sales leadership talent while building a culture of accountability and performance. Utilize data, market insights, and technology platforms to improve sales effectiveness and territory performance. Lead strategic planning efforts focused on distribution gains, promotional execution, and profitable growth. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 8+ years of progressive leadership experience within the non-alcoholic beverage industry. Proven success managing Sales Managers, District Managers, or regional sales leadership teams. Strong experience operating within a DSD environment. Demonstrated ownership of sales budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance. Experience driving growth across grocery, convenience, mass retail, club, or foodservice channels.
