Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a contract Physical Therapist supporting PreK-8th grade students in a school-based setting. This full-time, onsite position involves providing specialized PT services designed to promote student success and physical development throughout the academic year. The assignment is set to run from August 3, 2026, through May 26, 2027 (dates may be subject to change).

Ideal candidates will possess prior school-based Physical Therapy experience and are adept at collaborating within multidisciplinary education teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping students achieve mobility goals, access their learning environments, and participate fully in school activities.

What You’ll Need:

• Current Arizona state license as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Possession of a valid IVP Fingerprint Card
• Experience delivering physical therapy services in school settings is highly preferred
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload spanning PreK-8th grade students
• Strong communication skills for working with educators, staff, and families
• Flexibility, organization, and a passion for helping children thrive within educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services aligned with educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with state and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
