Pediatric School-Based SLP | Aurora, Illinois

Exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Spanish-Speaking Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful difference in a school setting! This flexible contract position involves working just two hours per week during afternoon sessions-Monday (1:20 pm - 2:20 pm) and Friday (1:50 pm - 2:50 pm)-supporting a preschool student and a first grader. You'll partner with an on-site speech pathologist, either remotely or in person, ensuring students receive the inclusive, culturally responsive support they need.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP licensure (CCC or actively working toward CFY)
• Professional experience with pediatric or school-aged populations
• Bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills in both languages
• Experience with teletherapy or willingness to provide remote services
• Understanding of school-based IEP processes and documentation
• Collaborative spirit to co-teach and coordinate with fellow professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy to two elementary-aged students, focusing on individual education plan (IEP) goals
• Work closely with the school's onsite SLP, sharing expertise and co-planning sessions
• Provide progress monitoring, assessments, and thorough documentation aligned with school standards
• Offer services remotely if needed, utilizing secure teletherapy platforms
• Communicate effectively with families and school staff to ensure continuity of care
