The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams; and supervises licensed and non-licensed staff. Key Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments and reassessments; make sound clinical decisions. Develop, prioritize, implement, and revise individualized care plans. Monitor and document patient responses to interventions. Provide patient/family education throughout care and at discharge. Delegate appropriately and mentor/precept nursing staff.
