As a Receiving Sampler, you'll play a hands-on role in safely sampling and directing incoming drums throughout the plant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with industrial, operations, or manufacturing experience who enjoy active, physical work and are detail oriented. Key job responsibilities include sampling the contents of incoming drums and submitting materials to the lab for testing, directing drums to their correct processing areas, checking rows of drums for accuracy and compliance, maintaining organized approval files, verifying that waste is approved under the facility's RCRA permit, handling waste safely, ensuring full regulatory compliance, working in shipping and receiving areas, maintaining clear pathways and safe conditions, assisting with daily area inspections, following all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, standards, and internal policies, and performing other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience with inventory or quality control is helpful. Previous forklift experience preferred. Prior industrial experience and familiarity with DOT regulations preferred. Ability to read and apply operational documents, SOPs, manifests, and bills of lading. Ability to work the assigned schedule and on-site as required. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Comfortable with physical tasks such as walking, standing, crawling, kneeling, lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
