Job Description
We are an established and growing wholesale flooring distributor with over 50 years in the industry. As we expand our product lines and marketing, we are looking to bring on a strong hands-on senior accountant to elevate our financial discipline, reporting, and controls. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in retail/wholesale distribution, understands inventory-driven business, and is comfortable working directly with ownership.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial reporting and budget processes
- Oversee inventory accounting and related cost analysis
- Implement and maintain internal controls
- Perform account reconciliation and cash flow management
- Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance
- Collaborate directly with ownership on financial matters
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Expertise in inventory accounting and ERP systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
