Role Manufacturing Engineer Location Orlando, FL United States Duration 12+ Months (Possibilities of Extension) P ay Rate $45 - $53.00/Hr. on W2 Shift 4/10A-1st Shift
Job Description: As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for translating complex engineering blueprints into clear work instructions and improving manufacturing processes using cutting-edge technologies. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Create comprehensive work instructions from engineering drawings and parts lists.
• Implement automation and advanced technologies to enhance build efficiency.
• Lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.
• Develop process improvements that lower costs, increase quality, and accelerate delivery. Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Position requires 3+ years of experience with writing technical work instructions.
• Position requires 3+ years of working experience with composites fabrication and/or optical assemblies.
• Position requires 3+ years of experience with working in a manufacturing floor environment. Desired skills:
• Able to work in a cross functional, team environment.
• Detailed knowledge of GD&T.
• SAP Experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing, concepts, and techniques.
• CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tool design.
