Worksite Security Investigative Specialists

Worksite Security Investigative Specialist Under the general direction of the Worksite Security Supervisor and Lead Worksite Security Investigator, the incumbent independently performs investigative work related to allegations of misconduct, department policy violations, bullying/harassment, threats, assaults, and/or workplace violence. The investigator conducts fact‑finding interviews, analyzes evidence, and prepares objective investigative reports that support informed management decisions. The position requires a high level of discretion, exceptional communication, analytical skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information. The incumbent is expected to maintain the highest degree of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality and use discretion and good judgment in the execution of official duties. Specifications Classification: ANALYST II Salary Range: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 A Location: Sacramento County – In Office Job Type: 12‑Month Limited Term – Full Time Duration/Extension: Position may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent. Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of alleged misconduct, policy violations, harassment, threats, assaults, and workplace violence.

Experience working with external entities. Experience conducting investigations and presenting findings. Experience on enterprise‑wide projects or policies. Process improvement experience. Experience safeguarding confidential information. Maintaining positive and trusting working relationships with other business areas. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal skills.
