Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.We’re seeking a U.S. & Global Employment Litigation and Compliance Counsel to join our Employment Law Team, reporting to the Senior Director of Employment Law, to partner across the business. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert managing risk and getting results.This position is located at our corporate Headquarters in Santa Clara, CA. You'll be required to be onsite 3 days a week.What you’ll be doing:Manage pre-litigation employment disputes, demand letters, administrative charges, and government inquiries, both U.S. and international.Partner with the litigation team and outside counsel on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and resolution.Advise on U.S. and global employment matters, compliance and policy, including works councils, employee consultation obligations, policy localization, and cross-border investigations.Support HR initiatives, M&A, and employment policies, balancing pragmatism with risk mitigation.Track legal and regulatory developments and turn them into actionable guidance.What we need to see:Active California State Bar membership in good standing; JD with strong academic credentials.10+ years of employment law experience in-house and/or at a nationally recognized firm.Track record managing complex cross-border employment matters for multinational employers, including works council processes and information-and-consultation obligations across jurisdictions.Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills with excellent legal and business judgment.Self-directed and collaborative, able to juggle competing priorities across functions and geographies in a fast-paced environment.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to take own initiative.Ability to strategically lead potentially contentious interactions.Must work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, as well as- independently.NVIDIA is widely considered one of the technology world’s most desirable employers!
