IT Support Specialist

100% Remote | Direct Hire

We are partnering with a highly regarded professional services organization seeking several IT Support Specialists to join a distributed technology support function.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems rather than simply routing tickets. The position combines end-user support, application troubleshooting, identity and access support, Microsoft 365 technologies, connectivity, and high-touch customer service.

The organization supports a fast-moving professional workforce where technology issues can be time-sensitive and users expect responsive, polished service. Successful candidates will be technically resourceful, confident communicators, and comfortable taking ownership of an issue from initial contact through resolution or appropriate escalation.

Available Schedules

Three openings are currently available:

• 2 openings: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 PM-6:00 AM Pacific
• 1 opening: Wednesday-Sunday, 5:00 AM-1:00 PM Pacific

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must reside and work in one of the following approved locations:

AR, CA, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, KS, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NM, NV, NY, ND, OH, OR, PA, RI, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.

Employees are expected to work from their established home location.

What You'll Do

• Provide remote technical support to professionals, business leaders, executives, and other internal users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, application, account, access, connectivity, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Support Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and related productivity tools.
• Troubleshoot user accounts, permissions, authentication, shared resources, and application access.
• Assist with VPN, remote connectivity, and virtual-environment issues.
• Support collaboration and conferencing technologies such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
• Investigate application issues beyond basic reinstall/restart troubleshooting to identify potential account, permission, configuration, connectivity, or application-related causes.
• Manage incidents through an enterprise ticketing platform such as ServiceNow or a comparable system.
• Take ownership of user issues and keep users informed when another technical group needs to become involved.
• Use existing documentation, knowledge articles, previous incidents, and internal resources to investigate unfamiliar issues before escalating.
• Create and update technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Assist with application testing, workstation configuration, and other technology support initiatives.
• Manage multiple active requests while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service.
• Collaborate with other technology professionals while remaining capable of independently working through unfamiliar problems.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on IT support, service desk, desktop support, or technical support experience .
• Experience providing support within a professional, corporate, or enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting software and business applications , not solely hardware and device issues.
• Strong Microsoft 365 support experience, particularly with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar collaboration technologies.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and/or Microsoft identity and administrative environments.
• Experience supporting user accounts, passwords, access, permissions, security groups, and related identity issues.
• Ability to determine whether an issue originates with a user's device, account/access, connectivity, or application.
• Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, account changes, and/or related technology provisioning activities.
• Familiarity with ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Zendesk, Freshservice, or comparable enterprise support tools.
• Experience supporting executives, senior leaders, or other high-expectation user populations.
• Ability to clearly explain your troubleshooting process and the technologies you've personally supported.

Pay Details: $72,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
