The Position Our bank client is seeking to fill a Sr. C&I Lender role located in the Chicago, IL area. The successful candidate will make and service a variety of C&I loans. The candidate will also assist senior officers in handling larger and more complicated loans and provide other customer services as may be required. The opportunity has a generous salary of up to $180K+ incentives and a benefits package. ( This is not a remote position ). Sr. C&I Lender responsibilities include: Developing and managing commercial loan accounts that meet established lending requirements and provide maximum profitability to the Bank at minimum risk. Collecting and analyzing information that reflects the current creditworthiness of customers and the current merits of existing loans. Reviews and analyzes title report or survey to determine issues and any present or potential risk. Analyzing applicant financial status, credit and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan or submits application to credit analyst for verification and recommendation. Meeting with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process. Guiding loans through the approval and closing process. Explaining, promoting, cross-selling or referring bank, insurance and trust products or services. Representing the Bank in the community through professional and civic involvement is critically important to this role. Who Are You? You’re someone who wants to influence your own development. You also bring the following skills and experience: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 10 years as a C&I Lender required $15MM – $20MM in loans or deposits (annually) Computer skills required: (Accounting Software; Contract Management Systems; Development Software; Human Resource Systems; Inventory Software; Microsoft Office Suite; Payroll Systems; Project Management Software.
