Key Responsibilities\n

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support clients in achieving their goals regarding their relationship with alcohol.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to facilitate effective therapy sessions.

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the appropriate level of intervention for clients.
\n
• Lead optional support groups and collaborate with team members on community outreach efforts to promote available recovery resources.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities, including obtaining Continuing Education Units (CEUs) annually, with all costs covered by the organization.

• Maintain accurate client records while minimizing administrative tasks with the support of our Clinical Operations Team.

• Engage in peer collaboration meetings for shared learning and case discussions, fostering a supportive clinical environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients seeking therapeutic support to modify their behavior towards alcohol use, which may include individuals looking for moderation or complete abstinence. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique needs and goals. By utilizing a harm-reduction model, you will empower clients to pursue their personal aspirations, providing them with the tools to achieve a healthier relationship with alcohol.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.

• Demonstrated training and certification in evidence-based therapeutic methods, including but not limited to CBT, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Practices.

• Ability to exhibit clinical engagement skills with empathy and understanding.

• A firm grasp of harm-reduction principles and community recovery support options like AA, Smart Recovery, and Moderation Management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience and training in addiction counseling or mental health therapy.

• Familiarity with a variety of community recovery support networks and their integration into therapeutic practice.

• Experience in providing virtual therapy services or remote counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with a yearly compensation between USD 70,000 and USD 100,000, plus bonuses for performance.
