Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments and document client histories from the initial consultation through the treatment stages, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each client's unique situation.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health to identify areas of concern and establish baseline therapeutic objectives.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that encompass specific, measurable goals for recovery, tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging and supportive individual and group therapy sessions that may include cognitive-behavioral techniques, solution-focused interventions, and other therapeutic modalities.

• Continuously monitor and assess client progress throughout therapy, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive intervention plans, drawing upon multidisciplinary expertise to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Provide follow-up support as needed, especially for clients who have undergone hospitalization, maintaining communication with medical practitioners for holistic care.

• Proactively identify potential barriers to recovery, integrating preventative strategies within therapeutic approaches to safeguard client well-being.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in navigating the complexities of mental health challenges, enhancing the support network for clients.

At Eleanor Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our multi-faceted approach enables you to help clients from various backgrounds, ages, and socioeconomic statuses, ensuring equitable access to mental health resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is required.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is necessary.
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with an understanding of psychological principles and evidenced-based intervention techniques.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, to ensure efficient documentation and client management.
\n
• Experience addressing co-occurring disorders, alongside the understanding of how physical health can impact mental health.
\n
• Knowledge of ethical practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) to maintain professionalism and client trust.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with clients, families, and colleagues.
\n
• A warm, empathetic demeanor paired with outstanding interpersonal skills conducive to building trusting relationships with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
