Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and regular progress evaluations to discern clients’ mental health needs.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client goals.

• Offer ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, adapting sessions to different therapeutic modalities inclusive of cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document clinical notes, track client progress, and maintain compliance with all legal requirements.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and wellness coaches, to ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.

• Provide referrals to additional healthcare providers when necessary to address overlapping health concerns.

• Engage in clinical supervision and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance professional knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Silver Wing Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a variety of challenges including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Your expertise in managing these issues sensitively and effectively will help clients navigate their mental health journey. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to practice in Oregon.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a breadth of knowledge in mental health disorders.

• Demonstrable strong crisis intervention skills and experience managing high-pressure situations effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
