Founded in Seattle, YPN is built for the generation shaping what the city becomes next. Role Description The Social Media Content Creator is a full-time, on-site role based in Seattle, WA. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms to showcase YPN events, speakers, and member experiences. Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, capturing photo and video content at events, writing captions and posts, and aligning messaging with YPN’s brand voice. The Social Media Content Creator monitors engagement metrics, responds to community interactions, and collaborates with the team to support event promotion and membership growth. The role also involves staying current with social media trends and recommending new formats or platforms to increase reach and impact. Qualifications Strong skills in social media content creation, including copywriting, photography, and short-form video production. Experience managing social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X) and using scheduling and analytics tools. Ability to develop and execute content strategies that support brand awareness, event promotion, and community engagement. Comfort working on-site at events, capturing live content, and interacting with members and speakers in a professional manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and consistent brand voice. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects. Familiarity with basic graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar) is preferred. Previous experience in community-building, event marketing, or professional networking organizations is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
