Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic school-based contract opportunity supporting K-12 students during Extended School Year (ESY) sessions. This role centers on delivering physical therapy services at Ostmann Elementary throughout a structured summer schedule, offering valuable hands-on school experience and professional collaboration.

You’ll be part of a focused team, working closely with students in a positive learning environment. The ESY session is set for late June through late July: work hours are from 7:45 am to 12:31 pm, typically 3-5 hours per week. Specific ESY dates include June 29 - July 1, July 6-9, July 13-16, and July 20-23 (Monday through Thursday), with an initial planning day on June 25. Additional hours on July 22-23 are allocated to finalizing student records and helping pack the therapy room.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience providing PT services in a school setting and collaborating with educators or school-based teams
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying caseloads (caseload typically 7 students, approx. 175 minutes weekly, subject to interview update)
• Experience with K-12 populations is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver scheduled physical therapy sessions aligned with student IEPs
• Track student progress and complete timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with school staff and families
• Support the safe, effective use of the therapy environment
• Contribute to end-of-session record keeping and room organization
