What You'll Do As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you'll troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service commercial HVAC equipment while delivering exceptional service to our customers. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC issues across commercial and industrial systems Service and maintain rooftop units (RTUs), package units, split systems, and associated HVAC equipment Perform preventive maintenance to maximize system performance and reliability Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls-related issues Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate solutions Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with customers Complete service tickets and documentation accurately and in a timely manner Maintain a strong commitment to safety and OSHA compliance Represent Walker White Mechanical professionally at customer locations Participate in ongoing training and skill development opportunities What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 2+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred Experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC equipment Working knowledge of RTUs, package units, split systems, and refrigeration systems Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation EPA Certification (Required) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Dependable work ethic and attention to detail Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience Experience with chillers and building automation/control systems HVAC certifications or technical training OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification Experience servicing a variety of commercial HVAC manufacturers and equipment types Why Technicians Choose Walker White Variety of Work Work on a wide range of commercial HVAC systems and gain experience across different industries and facilities.
