Join us and help shape the future of construction. Position Summary We are seeking an EHS professional to lead safety and environmental compliance efforts across our construction projects. This role is responsible for developing and implementing site-specific EHS policies, conducting inspections and audits, delivering safety training, and investigating incidents to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for a safety-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and is committed to building a strong culture of safety awareness. Key Responsibilities EHS Program Implementation Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific EHS policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations. Conduct hazard assessments and recommend corrective actions. Provide guidance on environmental compliance, such as waste management and stormwater pollution prevention. Site Inspections and Audits Perform regular inspections of the construction site to identify potential hazards. Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and follow up on corrective actions. Training and Education Conduct EHS training sessions for employees, contractors, and subcontractors. Develop and deliver toolbox talks and safety meetings. Promote a culture of safety awareness through education and engagement. Incident Response and Reporting Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes. Prepare detailed reports and recommend measures to prevent recurrence. Assist in emergency response planning and drills. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities. Submit required EHS compliance reports to regulatory agencies. Track and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaboration and Communication Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and workers to address safety concerns. Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years’ experience in EHS Program Management 2–5 years of EHS experience in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards. OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Strong knowledge of construction processes. Excellent communication and training skills. Proficiency in incident investigation techniques (e.g., root cause analysis). Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. First Aid/CPR Certification Travel up to 25% when necessary Ideal Candidate Profile Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards Hands-on experience conducting site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits Skilled in incident investigation techniques, including root cause analysis Experience developing and delivering EHS training, toolbox talks, and safety meetings Strong understanding of environmental compliance (waste management, stormwater pollution prevention) Detail-oriented with strong documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills A proactive communicator who can collaborate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, field-driven construction environment A self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple priorities and job sites Committed to building a strong culture of safety awareness through education and engagement OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certified, with First Aid/CPR certification Willing and able to travel up to 25% as needed We're looking for someone who requires minimal training and can step in to immediately run projects with confidence.
