Advanced Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C)

Job Summary

As an Advanced Certified Nursing Assistant, you will deliver direct patient care within your licensure scope, assisting with vital signs, telemetry monitoring, EKG acquisition, wound care, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures. You will support patients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and meal assistance, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.

Experience

• One to two years of patient care experience, preferably in acute care settings.
• Telemetry experience is a plus.

Licenses and Certifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Medical Assistant Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of patient care practices and ability to apply age-specific care principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a caring and professional demeanor.
• Ability to manage difficult situations while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and medical equipment.

Work Environment
