Energy Associate

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Energy practice of a leading international law firm in Los Angeles. Working as part of a highly regarded Energy team, you'll advise developers, sponsors, investors, lenders and other key market participants on sophisticated transactions across the energy sector. The role offers exposure to complex energy projects, financings, acquisitions and development matters, with the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners on high-profile domestic and cross-border mandates. Requirements Class of 2022 or equivalent level of experience. Experience advising on energy transactions, project development, project finance, M&A or other related matters within the energy sector. Strong transactional experience with excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple workstreams and take increasing responsibility for complex transactions. Strong communication skills and a commercial approach to client service. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and cross-border teams.
