Technical Product Support Specialist (Morris County New Jersey; Rockaway, NJ)

Technical Product Support Specialist (Morris County New Jersey; Rockaway, NJ) BTECH is seeking a Technical Product Support Specialist to join our growing team. This customer-facing role is responsible for providing technical support and training for BTECH's hardware and software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electronics, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and excellent communication skills. This is NOT an internal IT support role—it focuses on helping external customers effectively use and troubleshoot BTECH products. This position is full time on site in Rockaway, New Jersey. Responsibilities Provide prompt and professional product support to customers via phone, email, ticketing system, and video conferencing (Teams/Zoom). Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to BTECH's hardware and software offerings. Deliver remote and occasional on-site product training and field service support. Remotely install and configure BTECH software in customer environments. Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams such as Service, Monitoring, and Engineering. Maintain expertise in BTECH's full product line and contribute to ongoing support documentation (manuals, bulletins, work instructions). Assist the Engineering team in testing and evaluating prototype hardware and software. Minimum Education Electronics Technology Degree (Associates) or equivalent experience. Required Skills and Experience Solid understanding of engineering principles and practices. Hands on experience using basic electronic test equipment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with good interpersonal skills. High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and a working knowledge of databases and computer networking concepts. Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools Self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently.
