Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Perform comprehensive resident assessments and ongoing evaluations

• Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered care

• Monitor and assess resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes

• Develop and implement individualized care plans

• Coordinate care with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members

• Supervise and support LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations

• Participate in admissions, care planning, and discharge processes

• Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life

• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

RN Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Current, active, unencumbered Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Current CPR certification

• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
