Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based environment near Lithonia, GA. This role allows you to contribute your expertise to help students meet their communication goals and achieve academic success within a collaborative setting.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Georgia state licensure (or eligibility)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience working in schools, with knowledge of IEP processes and special education requirements
• Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine student speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEPs
• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services for students with a range of communication disorders
• Maintain accurate records, data, and progress notes as required by school guidelines
• Consult regularly with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support students’ academic and social success
• Attend IEP meetings and provide professional input when developing goals and accommodations
• Create engaging, evidence-based interventions and adapt services to a diverse student population
