Payroll Specialist Responsibilities Execute client relationship strategy that instills trust in the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services for a high volume of small‑to‑medium‑sized clients. Review payroll data supplied by clients for accuracy and completeness. Input and balance payroll data accurately. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Process payroll; review and analyze payroll reports for accuracy and distribute to clients. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred. 1+ years’ payroll or relevant experience. FPC certification preferred.
