Wildlife Knowledge: Strong understanding of local wildlife species, their habitats, and ecological roles. Fieldwork Skills: Experience conducting wildlife surveys and monitoring populations. Technical Skills: Familiarity with using GPS units, one ways, and other field equipment. Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, with moderate physical stamina for tasks like carrying equipment and using ladders to climb roofs. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document findings, report data, and collaborate with colleagues. Problem-solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems that may arise in the field. Attention to Detail: Accurate data collection and meticulous record-keeping are crucial. Requirements High School graduate / GED Valid Driver’s license with an excellent driving record needed Wildlife experience needed Job requires standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling Extended hours and weekends when necessary. Work in a safe manner in accordance with state requirements, OSHA policies and procedures, and maintaining and utilizing required safety equipment when performing duties.
