You will coordinate closely with a team of social workers, therapists, and healthcare providers, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients. Our detox center is designed to facilitate effective therapeutic interventions, ensuring clients receive the necessary support regardless of their location.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough interviews and evaluations of clients and family members to assess social, emotional, and economic factors impacting their health.

• Provide tailored telehealth services, utilizing trauma-informed care methodologies to support individuals facing substance use challenges and related trauma.

• Research and advocate for community resources such as food assistance, housing, and healthcare to enhance clients' overall wellbeing.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations, including child abuse and mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate interventions.

• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, regularly following up to track improvements and adjust care plans as necessary.

• Assist clients in adapting to significant life changes, such as job loss, family separation, or health crises, by providing guidance and emotional support.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals struggling with substance use disorders and the complex trauma that often accompanies these challenges. You will develop meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds, assessing their unique situations and tailoring your approach to foster trust and engagement. Your work will have a significant impact on improving clients' mental health, guiding them toward recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid LCSW license in Pennsylvania is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health services, preferably in health-related settings.

• Experience working with veterans and familiarity with their unique challenges in mental health is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of Department of Mental Health billing and documentation processes.

• Proficient understanding of child development concepts, including the dynamics of parent-child intervention and issues surrounding child abuse and neglect.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively counsel patients and navigate sensitive discussions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
