We serve patients in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealth's mission in the communities we serve.

As a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. Accept the responsibility to practice autonomously and collaboratively in all practice environments to provide best practice to the patient/client. Autonomous practice is characterized by independent, self-determined, professional judgment and action.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Leads the clinical rehabilitation team (therapists, assistants, athletic trainers, techs, volunteers, and interns) with positive influence and by example while providing physical therapy in the outpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Assists manager/director with interviews, orientation of new hires, rounding with employees' physicians and patients, completion of staff annual competencies and development of clinical staff in areas of continuing education, mentoring and documentation.
• Responsible for dispensing and collecting chart audit reviews, inputting of PI data, and review of results with team and individuals.
• Performs evaluations, re-evaluations, and status updates according to department standards.
• Establishes, implements and adapts an individualized treatment plan of care that includes appropriate goal setting, treatments and frequency.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

• Licensed in the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior leadership experience
• Ortho Certifications
• OCS
