Job Description:

Works closely with cross-functional teams to build, deploy, track, and optimize social media campaigns to achieve business results. Coordinates with social media reporting, providing strategic insights to internal teams to guide decision-making. Generates weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual social media reports on platform development and progress, incorporating optimization strategies and data analysis. Collaborates with partners to stay ahead of platform developments and emerging trends, expanding into new platforms. Actively participates in team brainstorms and contributes ideas to keep social content fresh, relevant, and aligned with emerging trends and target audience behaviors. Executes day-to-day social media strategy, content, and campaigns across social platforms. Plans, writes, and edits social media posts for multiple channels and audiences. Schedules and posts daily content to current social media pages. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to build out the editorial calendar. Ensures copy is written in the brand voice and imagery/video meets brand standards. Creates paid social media campaigns as needed. Other duties as assigned. Works collaboratively with the copy, design, and photography/video teams to develop original channel-specific content and execute marketing campaigns.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Windows Applications: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint [Required]

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Suite programs including advanced PowerPoint skills preferred, or technical aptitude to learn advanced skillset [Required]

• Excellent skills in social media platforms, organic social media, and paid social media [Required]

• Experience with real-time analytics [Required]

• Obsession with social media in all forms — Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter — and an understanding of why the most popular stuff on those sites became popular [Required]

• Have an ability to identify attributes of things people share [Required]

• A genuine love for and excitement about the internet [Required]

• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, interpersonal, and powerful communication skills a must [Required]

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and attentive to detail [Required]

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills [Required]

• Strong time-management and project management skills with the ability to finish projects on deadline [Required]

• Proficient in back-end website and social media platforms and software systems to effectively execute and maintain public-facing pages on various social media sites [Required]

• Ability to use Adobe suite to produce and edit video and photo content for social media platforms [Required]

• Demonstrates strong professional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of management (internal and external), as well as media partners, vendors, community partners, and the general public [Required]

• Ability to work independently without supervision, responsible, proactive, and must be a team player [Required]

• Must possess strong written communication skills that effectively use brand messaging and best practices to create robust engagement on social media [Required]

• Ability to effectively solve problems, manage conflict, and manage information that may be confidential [Required]

• Must display a professional manner at all times, be hardworking and ethical, and passionate about writing and digital marketing [Required]

• Proficiency in AP Style and superb writing and copy editing skills [Required]

• Strong understanding of social media marketing strategies and best practices, with proven ability in collaboration, problem-solving, using data to derive solutions, communications, and presentations [Required]

• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to build rapport and relationships with leaders and team members. Ability to manage and set expectations throughout content lifecycles to ensure consistency and quality in deliverables [Required]

• Proven ability in producing successful content and performance, and demonstrated ability to successfully manage concurrent projects, work under multiple and competing deadlines [Required]
