Come experience the fun and charm of Atlanta!About the RoleServe guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods.Essential Functions:Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards. (20%)Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest's original order. (15%)Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks. (15%)Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. (10%)Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items. (10%)Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. (10%)Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. (10%)Monthly beverage inventory and stock take. (10%)Non-Essential Functions:Serve food items in the bar area.Assist with bar inventory.Cut fruit and prepare beverage garnishments.What you bringEducation: High school education or equivalent experience.Experience: Minimum two years bartending or related work.Skills and Abilities: Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety, of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks.
