Hourly Pay Rate: $60.30

Job Description:
• Patient Care & Preparation: Explain scanning procedures to patients, answer questions, review medical histories, and verify physician orders.
• Equipment Operation: Calibrate, warm up, and operate specialized CT scanning machinery while adhering to safety protocols.
• Contrast Administration: Screen patients for contrast allergies and safely administer oral or intravenous (IV) contrast materials to highlight specific bodily tissues.
• Positioning & Safety: Correctly position patients on the scanner table and utilize precise radiation shielding techniques to minimize unnecessary exposure (ALARA principles).
• Image Quality Assurance: Review, analyze, and optimize digital files for clarity and accuracy before sending them to radiologists for diagnostic evaluation.
• Documentation: Accurately maintain and update patient charts and procedural details within electronic health records and PACS systems.
