Xactly Technical Admin

About This Role We’re looking for a full‑time Xactly Technical Admin to join our Sales team, reporting to the Revenue Compensation Manager. This remote role is based in the United States and focuses on ensuring accurate, scalable, and efficient sales compensation operations by managing and optimizing the Xactly Incent platform and translating complex compensation plans into reliable system logic. What You'll Do Manage and administer the Xactly Incent platform, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. Handle permissions, access, personalization, new user setup, and other system operations for Xactly users. Translate compensation plan documents into system logic and design workflows for plan changes, exceptions, and adjustments. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual system setup, including user/position management and hierarchy updates. Conduct UAT testing, troubleshooting, and system accuracy checks. Provide technical guidance during plan design discussions and advise on system capabilities and constraints. Collaborate with RevOps and GTM teams to implement commission and bonus plans and ensure seamless data integration. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for Xactly processes, configurations, and procedures. Identify opportunities to streamline and automate compensation processes, reducing manual intervention. Create and monitor reporting dashboards that provide clear insights into commission structures and performance metrics. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to the commission team. Maintain functional requirement documentation for plan years, detailing components, business rules, and data mapping. Continuously assess and enhance system functionality based on product updates and new features. Ensure data security and integrity within the Xactly system in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. What We’re Looking For 3-5 years of experience with the Xactly platform, focusing on system configuration. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent education/experience. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality results within deadlines. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, including managing complex datasets. Proven ability to translate business requirements into system logic and maintain accurate, auditable calculations. Excellent problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal stakeholders. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred. Experience with Xactly CEA or Xactly Connect is a plus. Xactly Certified Administrator or equivalent certification highly preferred. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, Power BI) is desired. Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $80,000 – $90,000 USD annually. Eligible for an annual bonus and participation in Gainsight’s equity program.
