What You'll Do

As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting core accounting operations. Your work will directly impact the integrity and efficiency of our financial reporting.

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting documentation
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with monthly close processes and financial reporting
• Support the preparation of quarterly and annual statutory financial statements
• Contribute to insurance and municipal tax filings
• Partner with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders
• Uphold company policies and regulatory requirements

What You Bring

• 1–2 years of accounting experience
• Associate's degree in Accounting required (Bachelor's preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A team-oriented mindset with a results-driven approach
