Plasma Center Technician

Job Description At BioLife, we generate meaningful part‑time opportunities to accommodate diverse commitments. This position is part‑time with most shifts lasting 4‑6 hours per day, three or more days per week. Shift availability and schedule will be confirmed early in the interview process and communicated in advance of any changes. Reliability during scheduled hours is essential as our patients depend on the plasma we collect. All team members must hold a current California license or certification: CPT1, CPT2, CLS, or MLT. Responsibilities Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor experience while ensuring safety. Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures. Work variable shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 32 lbs. rarely 50 lbs.; 5 lbs. daily. Good fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing of equipment. Experience in a customer or patient‑facing role (minimum 1 year). Current California license or certification (CPT1, CPT2, CLS, MLT). Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
