Project Manager

Project Manager Bridge Company – Boston, MA As a leading Heavy Civil Contractor, our client is seeking qualified applicants for a Project Manager position within our Heavy & Highway division in the Boston area. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise construction highway and bridge projects from development to completion. Job Responsibilities Provide constructability input and/or actual estimating of projects. Oversee setup, scheduling, execution, and closing out of assigned construction projects. Coordinate job and resource scheduling with project superintendents, equipment operations, and other HRI personnel as required. Delegate and assign tasks to appropriate personnel. Organize and direct activities of the construction crew. Monitor all steps of the operation to ensure standard quality and operating practices and guidelines are followed. Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality. Devise and implement cost‑saving strategies. Perform administrative activities such as scheduling crews, completing reports, conducting safety conversations, and complying with other reporting requirements. Provide financial leadership for the project and maximize its profitability. Requirements Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related degree. Minimum of 8 years of work experience in heavy highway construction. Experience in P6 or other CPM scheduling software. Must have a current and valid driver’s license. Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times. Show punctuality, consistent attendance, and self‑direction for the success of the operations.
