Information Technology Specialist (Systems Administration)

Senior Systems Administrator Duties

Help

Maintain systems as a Senior Systems Administrator, installing software and hardware for operating systems to ensure successful day-to-day operations.

Develop corrective action to resolve operational problems of complex systems, hardware, or software issues.

Manage installation of upgrades, backups, and patches.

Provide comprehensive, technical guidance and instruction to users and other IT Specialists.

Collaborate on committees to develop plans for system environment enhancements, acquisition requirements, and conduct cost benefit analyses and feasibility studies.

Maintain the cybersecurity posture, accreditation, and daily security operations of a program, organization, or enclave.
