Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and expand a profitable customer base within an assigned territory
• Build strong relationships with purchasing managers, operations leaders, maintenance teams, and key decision-makers
• Prospect for new business opportunities and generate qualified leads
• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, quoting, negotiating, closing, and account management
• Identify customer needs and recommend equipment, rental, and service solutions
• Collaborate with internal operations, service, and management teams to deliver exceptional customer support
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer records
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
• Travel regularly throughout South Louisiana to support customers and business growth

Qualifications:

• Proven success in outside sales and business development
• Experience in industrial equipment, power generation, electrical products, equipment rental, or industrial services preferred
• Experience with generators, temporary power systems, or power generation equipment is a strong plus
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to understand technical products and provide solution-based recommendations
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based sales role
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
