Career Opportunities: EHS Coordinator (525609) Requisition ID 525609 -Posted - Architectural Products Group - Superlite - Full Time - Environmental, Health, & Safety Job Summary This position is responsible for the administration and maintenance of safety records for assigned sites within the Southwest region. Job Responsibilities Administer Safety Programs within assigned region (4 sites) Maintain each site’s Plant Safety Manual Serve as Safety Committee Secretary Maintain and adhere to the Plant Safety manual Maintain safety records and prepare monthly safety reports Assist in the preparation and submitting permit applications to the proper regulatory agencies Order and maintain personal protective equipment and first aid supplies Assist plant personnel with safety training Attend site’s weekly toolbox talks when available Enter and maintain data in the software used on site for data and recordkeeping Inspect work environments, machinery and equipment in establishments and other work sites for conformance with governmental standards Observe employees and determine compliance with safety precautions and safety equipment used Ensure monthly inspections and weekly meetings are completed each month Complete annual DEQ emission reports and Permit compliance Maintain working knowledge of new technologies developed by the industry and government regulations Job Requirements High school diploma/equivalent, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience Ability to follow company safety procedures and attend weekly safety meetings Must be able to demonstrate lock out tag out procedures and keep key lock at all times Able to pass internal certification training Travel will be required within assigned region Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. on occasion Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to be in seated position for prolonged periods of time when necessary for documentation input Must be able to bend, crouch, push, pull, stoop, climb stairs, and reach when required for work purposes Must be able to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and ear plugs while in the production areas Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the job Compensation Pay Range: $27.00 - $30.00/hr What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
