Engineering AideThis engineering aide position is within the Low Observable (LO) Materials team in Marietta, Georgia. This position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance, therefore U.S. citizenship is required. In this position, you will:Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks to include:Work in a laboratory setting which requires the individual to utilize and maintain standard laboratory equipment and work spacesAdhere to lab safety practices, including use of a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE)Have a basic understanding of standard shop machineryWork with hazardous materials in the manufacturing of developmental products for engineering evaluationPerform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulasMaintain proper documentation of records and logsMaintain strict attention to detail including following written engineering directionWill be expected to work with both internal and external customers to meet deliverable timelines that can shift based upon priority levelExcellent communication skills. Experience working with a team.
