Lead Security Guard

Job Duties
Responsible for safeguarding government personnel, property, and technologies against such threats as: unlawful entry, sabotage, espionage, theft, accidental or willful damage, and destruction.
Grant access to those individuals that have met screening requirements and demonstrate a need to access the installation.
Provide significant support to the overall installation Antiterrorism/ Force Protection (AT/FP) capability.
Makes daily assignments to ensure that guard coverage is provided to assigned patrol areas.
Instruct employees in specific tasks and job techniques and provide on-the-job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures.
Operates and performs research queries on the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) workstation terminal(s) in accordance with (IAW) federal and state laws.
First responder to emergency recall and provide immediate response to active shooter and other situations such as terrorist threat, national emergencies and natural disasters.
Secures installation from all entry on own initiative or upon notification of alarm or emergency.
Detains violators, identifies witnesses and renders first aid to the injured commensurate with training and certifications
Ensures incident scenes are preserved for law enforcement investigators and provides written reports of findings based on criminal incidents.
