Through its portfolio of **RISC‐V processor IP, software tools, and custom silicon platforms**, MIPS helps customers design high-performance, power-efficient solutions from architecture to silicon.Our solutions are driving innovation across Industrial, Aerospace & Defense (A&D) and Integrated Device Manufacturer (IDM) across various applications, supporting the transition toward software-defined and AI-enabled vehicles.**Introduction**We are seeking a **Senior Business Development Manager – EMEA** to accelerate growth with leading Industrial, A&D and IDM customers and semiconductor partners across Europe.Responsibility includes driving new business opportunities and managing key customer relationships, from early engagement through deal closure.**Key Responsibilities****Drive Business Growth*** Identify, develop, and close new opportunities across automotive customers in EMEA* Lead the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement to contract execution* Monitor competitors, technology trends, customer roadmaps. Feed insights back to BUs and influence roadmap evolution* Focus on strategic engagements including: Platform solutions, Custom silicon programs, Processor IP licensing**Own Strategic Customer Relationships*** Act as primary account owner for key customers* Build strong relationships across engineering, purchasing, and executive levels* Develop and execute account strategies aligned with customer roadmaps**Engage & Position Solutions*** Work closely with customer engineering teams to understand system requirements* Position MIPS’ value proposition including: Open RISC‐V-based compute architectures, High-performance, multi-threaded CPU IP, Functional safety-ready solutions, End-to-end offering from IP to silicon* Translate technical requirements into compelling commercial proposals**Build and Manage Pipeline*** Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities* Ensure accurate forecasting and CRM management* Track progress toward revenue targets**Develop the Ecosystem*** Expand relationships with design houses, system integrators, and partners* Support industry engagement (conferences & trade shows, customer workshops, RISC‐V ecosystem)* Strengthen MIPS’ presence in the European market**Collaborate Across Teams*** Partner with engineering, product management, marketing, and foundry teams* Align internal stakeholders to drive successful customer engagements* Provide input to product roadmap based on market and customer needs**Qualifications****Experience*** 5+ years in business development, sales, or account management* Background in: Semiconductor IC, ASIC/SoC, or foundry services and Industrial or A&D or IDM electronics ecosystem* Proven success in closing complex, high-value deals* Established network within EMEA ecosystem (at least in one of the mentioned markets)* Strong understanding of IP selection, licensing models, and value proposition in system architectures* Familiarity with silicon development flows and design life cycles* Strong customer engagement and negotiation capabilities* Ability to operate independently and manage multiple opportunities* Excellent communication bridging technical and commercial topics* Structured pipeline and account management approach**Preferred Qualifications*** Track record working with European OEMs and Tier‐1 suppliers* Experience selling silicon or platform-based solutions* Experience with Embedded Compute ArchitecturesDiversity is part of our corporate DNA.
