Human Resources Assistant

We’re excited to welcome an entry-level HR Assistant who is outgoing, detail‑oriented, and eager to grow in the HR field. This role plays a key part in preparing payroll, welcoming new employees, and ensuring a smooth start to their career with us. Located in Buford, Stuart Pro Heating & Air has been servicing Georgia since 1997 and has been voted Best of Gwinnett for the last 10 years running! Duties / Responsibilities Payroll Pre-Processing-Gather and prepare payroll data for final processing. Timecard Review-Check hours, Pay Codes & PTO for accuracy. Employee Support-Assist with basic payroll & timekeeping questions Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Provides clerical support to the HR department. Coordinate new employee onboarding, including document collection, background checks, and system setup. Conduct engaging and informative employee orientation sessions Be a friendly, approachable point of contact for employee questions and concern Performs other duties as needed. Required Skills / Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.-OUTGOING PERSONALITY IS A MUST! Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information, and similar computer applications.
