Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our Fresno rehabilitation facility, where you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team. Our facility features modern therapy equipment and private therapy rooms that foster engaging therapeutic interactions. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. You will be encouraged to utilize advanced treatment modalities and participate in continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care, designing and implementing tailored treatment plans addressing a range of conditions such as orthopedic, post-surgical, sports-related injuries, and neurologic disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine individual patient needs, facilitating effective treatment modalities that promote recovery and mobility.
• Collaborate effectively with referring physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare team members to create cohesive treatment strategies and ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Educate patients and their families on the recovery process, empowering them with knowledge and strategies to facilitate their journey towards optimal health.
• Document patient progress meticulously in order to enhance communication with healthcare teams and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities through workshops, internal training programs, and mentorship initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient population will include diverse individuals ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients restoring mobility post-surgery. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a relevant field is required. While a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred, applicants with a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• A valid Physical Therapy license for California, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Exceptional communication skills, characterized by strong listening abilities that allow for effective interactions with patients, caregivers, and healthcare partners.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applications from all qualified candidates, at least two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation settings is preferred.
