Registered Nurse – Home Health

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
• Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• Valid Driver's License and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Required
• Current automobile insurance and a reliable automobile: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and direct home care services to meet patients' needs.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other care team members in accordance with the patient's plan of care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs and complete nursing assessments.
• Document patient care delivery, status, and responses to treatment in accordance with policies.
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare needs and provide learning opportunities.

• Orientation and training requirements as applicable.
• Compliance with all applicable legal and documentation standards, including HIPAA.
