Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact in the lives of elementary students in south Indianapolis, IN by providing speech-language services for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity is perfect for speech-language pathologists with expertise in pediatrics and school-based settings. Two SLPs are needed from July 29th through May 27th, with positions available for both full-time and part-time schedules. You'll be managing average-sized elementary caseloads, offering crucial intervention, assessment, and support to help children excel academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license for Indiana
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student educational planning
- Provide direct and consultative therapy within both group and individual settings
- Engage in ongoing professional learning and school initiatives
