About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director - Lead Negotiator to take on a pivotal role in leading the Americas coverage function. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and supervising a contract negotiation team that handles a wide range of trading documentation, supporting various businesses and a diverse client base. This includes maintaining daily interactions with internal partners to negotiate and execute trading agreements, as well as acting as the primary escalation point for the documentation team. The role also involves driving strategy and execution across negotiation workflows, serving as a senior subject matter expert on trading documentation, and overseeing the team's response to regulatory changes. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in negotiating trading agreements, with a strong knowledge of key provisions and their negotiability. A proven track record of managing teams of negotiation professionals and working directly with senior stakeholders across various functions is essential. The ideal candidate will be an effective leader, highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage and mentor team members. A Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field is required, with a JD being preferred. The role demands a commercially focused individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, trading-floor environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
